Panagiotis Ballas was born in Karditsa on September 6, 1993 and is a Greek footballer, who is mainly playing as a defensive midfielder for AEL. He started football from an early age at the Academy of Elpides Karditsas. In 2008 Atromitos acquired his rights and joined the club’s academies, while in 2010 he signed a professional contract with the Peristeri team. His debut took place on April 17, 2010 in a match against Kavala for the last game of season 2010-11. During the 2011-12 season he took his place in the starting eleven of the team in many matches demonstrating his talent. With Atromitos he has reached two cup finals in Greece in 2011 and 2012. In the summer of 2016 he left as a freeman and joined the German Schonhof Grossasspach, but he did not get many playing opportunities and in January 2017 he returned to Greece on behalf of Panionios. In September 2017 he signed a three-year contract with Larissa, where he is still playing. Panagiotis was international with the National Youth from 2011 to 2012, with which he participated in the European Championship (U-19) in the summer of 2012 and managed to reach his finals, where he was defeated 1-0 by Spain, winning the second place and the silver medal, with Balllas playing in the starting line-up in all the games. He was also a member of the national U-20 who participated in the World Cup of Youths (U-20) in 2013, and from 2012 to 2014, he was international with the National Hopes, with which he debuted on 15 August 2012 in the winning match 2-0) against Poland (U-21)<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
