Stratos Perperoglou, was born on 7 August 1984 in Drama, Greece. He began his basketball career with Kavala B.C. and he was then transferred to Ibiskos Rhodes. In 2003 he played for the first time in A1 of the Greek Basktball league for Ilisiakos B.C. and had an average of 5.6 points and 2 rebounds per game. Panionios B.C. believed in his capabilities and signed a three years contract with Stratos. In the season 2006-2007 he scored 12.7 points and 3 rebounds per game. His excellent performances \u00a0offered Stratos the opportunity to be transferred to Panathinaikos B.C. where he played for 5 years. On 7 August 2012 he joined Olympiakos F.C. where he signed a two years contract. On 17 June 2014 he then signed a two years contract with the Turkish side Anantolou Efes. On 23 July 2015 the transfer to famous B.C. Barcelona was announced where he signed a two years contract. Stratos won the bronze medal with the Greek National Side Under 19 during the Eurobasket of 2002 and the World Cup of 2003. He is a member of the Greek National Baskeball side since 2007.
