Antonis Petropoulos\u00a0was born in Athens, on January 28th 1986 and plays as a striker. Petropoulos began his career as an amateur from Paleo Faliro, from where he was noticed and transfered to Egaleo. When promoted to the first team of the club in 2004, to take time to play and gain experience, he was given on loan to Keratsini and in Haidari, 2005 and 2006 respectively. During 2006-07 he played a key role for Egaleo and attracted the interest of other clubs with his good performances. Panathinaikos attended his development and in 2007 proceeded to acquire them. He did not immediately manage to wear the “green” shirt, as he wore the jersey of OFI on a loan in the second half of the season 2007-08. In the summer of 2008 he joined again Panathinaikos. He was the second option for the attack, as Panathinaikos at that time happened to have Djibril Ciss\u00e9 and later Sebastian Leto in attack, but whenever he had the chance, he impressed with his executive skill and that is why has been attributed by sports type the nickname “Petrogkol”. In December 2012 he completed his collaboration with Panathinaikos and AEK immediately managed to sign him as a free player. He made his debut with the AEK against Asteras Tripolis on January 5, 2013, an away match in which his team lost 3-1. The first goal with his new team was on January 12 of that year, at a home match of AEK against Xanthi on Greek championship. At the end of the period, AEK got relegated for the first time in its history and Petropoulos was released. On June 20 2013, he was announced as a transfer of Apollo Smyrnis, however, despite the 12 goals that he scored, the Athenian team failed to remain in the league. At the summer of 2014 he announced the agreement with OFI, the club where he had played again (on a loan then) seven years ago.\u00a0Petropoulos left OFI half a year later due to serious financial problems at the club. On 21 January 2015, Petropoulos agreed with Kalloni till the end of 2014-15 season. On 12 May 2015, he solved his contract with the club. Petropoulos passes for the first time in his career, the Greek borders in order to pursue his career in Italian club Bari 1908 playing for Serie B.
