Dimitris Sialmas was born in Athens on June the 19th 1986 and he is a Greek footballer, who plays as an attacker. He began his career in the team of Atromitos Halandri. His first games at professional level were in 2005-06, for the Ethnikos Asteras team, in the 2nd National. In 2006 he signed with Panionios and for the next two years he remained in the team of Nea Smyrni. In 2008 he was transferred to Ethnikos Piraeus, who participated in the 2nd National. In the summer of the following year, PAS Giannina signed him and in January 2010 he was given a loan to Olympiakos Volos. He returned to Giannina during the 2010-11 season, making excellent appearances, helping the club to go to the 1st National. He finished fourth in the list of scorers, while the goal scored against Ethikos Asteras gave him the third-best goal of the 2010-11 season in a competition conducted by the English Guardian website. In the summer of 2011, AEK acquired his rights. At AEK he scored his first (two) goals against Levadiakos, who finished with a 2-0 victory. In the same match he was eliminated with two yellow cards, but he was the mvp of the game. In his first year with AEK he scored his first goals in Europe, against Lokomotiv Moscow, in the away defeat with 3-1 and against Anderlecht, in the home defeat by 2-1. The following summer (2012), Sialmas initially stayed at AEK, but as soon as he received a proposal from Azerbaijan, he asked for and remained free to sign on 23 August of the same year in Azerbaijan, Hazar Lancanan. On 10 December 2013 he signed a contract with Platanias Chania, from which he left in September 2014. In February 2015 he agreed with the Romanian Piatra Neamt until the end of the period. In March 2016 he moved to the Swedish Acropolis for the next three months.
