Angelos Anastasiadis\u00a0was born on the 8th of March 1953 and he is a football head coach and former international footballer. During his time in PAOK Anastasiadis was one of the most useful players that the team had, he could play in every position if it was needed. He scored PAOK’s only goal against Barcelona in the team’s away defeat 5-1 in Camp Nou. As a player \u00a0he won the Greek Championship 1975\u201376 and the Greek Cup 1973\u201374 with PAOK and the Greek Championship 1984 and the Greek Cups of 1982, and 1984 with Panathinaikos. He started his career as a coach from lower division teams, but soon his good work, opened the road for him, to the big clubs. Anastasiadis was the coach of PAOK between February 1997 to June 1998 and September 1998 to March 1999. He then coached Panathinaikos F.C. (June 2000 to February 2001) and Iraklis. He was named as coach of PAOK for second time in June 2002. In 2004 he left for Cyprus to take over the National team. His contract was renewed in November 2007 and ended at 2011, when he came back to Greek Superleague for Pas Giannena. After that he coached Platanias, a team that he managed to save from relegation twice. He worked for Platanias at the end of the 2012-13 season, and he was re-signed on February 9, 2014.
