Stelios Kitsiou was born in Thessaloniki, on the 28th of September 1993 and he is a Greek international footballer who plays as a right-wing defender and midfielder at Sint Truiden as a loan from PAOK. He started his football career, at the age of 14, in the team of Pavlos Melas. He then joined PAOK academies and in 2012 he was promoted to the men’s team making his first appearance in a championship match against AEK on 20 October 2012. On November 22nd 2013, he made an agreement to extend his contract until 2018. During the next three years (2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16) he was a key member of the team, while in the next (2016-17) along with Leo Matos he ran the right side of the defense. At the same time, he won the Greek Cup, in the final of which PAOK defeated AEK 2-1, with him playing as a subtitute. In the summer of 2017 he was granted a loan for a year in the Belgian Sint Truiden. He was a member of the National Youth in 2011, and from 2013 until 2014 he was international with the U-21.
