Petros Mantalos was born on 31 August 1991 in Komotini. \u0397\u03b5 began playing professional football for Super league side Skoda Xanthi. During his time at Skoda Xanthi, Mantalos played a total of 89 games scoring 15 goals in all competitions and he did his first steps for Greece national football team joining the U-19 and later the U-21 squad. With his good apperances on the team, Mantalos attracted the interest of Greek giants Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and the relegated to 3rd Division, but renewed AEK Athens. From summer of 2014 he plays for AEK Athens FC. Petros besides great talent and leader of his new team, he is also a leader outside the fields.
