Fiorin Durmishaj was born in Avlona, Albania, on the 14th of November 1996 and he is a Greek-Albanian footballer that plays as a central striker for Panionios and Greece national team. Durmishaj came to Greece at the age of 5 and made his first football steps in Rhodes (2005-2009). Panionios gathered information about him, resulting to his movement at the age of 13 to the team of Nea Smyrni. His promotion to Panionios’ first team took place in the 2014-2015 season when he made 2 appearances. The official debut with the first team took place on 29 October 2014 in an away match against Olympiacos for the Greek Cup which ended 1-1. In the same season he was given a loan in Kallithea and in twenty participations he scored six goals. Durmishaj returned to the team of Nea Smyrni in the summer of 2015. He began that year in Panionios and made two entries in the Super League. Then, the last season’s run was repeated, and Durmurai again wore the Kallithea shirt. He played with Kallithea in twelve games and scored once. In the summer of 2016 Lamia asked Panionios for Dourmassai in the form of a loan. So the Albanian striker went to Lamia to play in the Football League, in a season that Lamia managed to secure promotion. Durmurai played in 25 games for the Greek Championship and 3 for the Greek Cup scoring 8 goals. In the summer of 2017, Durmishaj returned to Panionios, where he is playing until today. Durmishaj was called by coach Alban Bushi for the friendly match against France K21 on June 5, 2017 and the opening match of UEFA Championship qualifiers against Estonia K21 on June 12, 2017. In the opening match of the qualifiers against Estonia K21, Durmishaj stayed on the bench for the whole match. He scored his first international goal in the national Albania K21 on September 4, 2017 against the Icelandic National K21 in the 75th minute giving Albania K21 an away win with 2-3. At the beginning of March 2019 National Hellenic team coach Angelos Anastasiadis came in contact with Durmishaj to learn his intentions about whether he wished to compete in the Greek team, receiving the positive response of the player.
