Thanasis Dinas was born on the 12th of November 1989 in Komotini. Dinas began his professional career at Skoda Xanthi. He was then loaned at Zakythos. In 2010, Dinas signed with Panachaiki, where he stayed for 3 years. With his performances there, he soon attracted the attention of the big clubs of the country and in 2013 he signed a 3-year contract with Panathinaikos, which was terminated in the summer of 2015. He then moved with a free transfer to Platanias FC where he plays up to now. Even though he is in the early twenties, he is very mature and sensitive towards the social problems that came up as a repercussion of the crisis in our days.
