Dimitris Stamou was born in Thessaloniki on April 27th 1991, and he is a Greek professional footballer that plays for Iraklis as a defensive midfielder. Dimitris started his football career from the Iraklis academies, signing his first professional contract in 2010, and in the same year he made his debut in the Super League in a match against Corfu. In the summer of 2011 as a free transfer from Iraklis, he signed a three-year contract with PAOK. In the year 2011-12 due to an injury he did not manage to play any games and next year he was given a loan to Corfu to get games and experiences. In the summer, as free transfer from PAOK, he made the opposite course and signed a two-year contract with Iraklis. There he stayed until 2017 having full seasons and in 2017 he got a transfer for Platanias, where he played in 17 games in the Super League. With the relegation of the Chania team in the Football League, Dimitris returned to Iraklis for the third time in his career, where he is playing until today.
