Nikos Gikas was born on the 22nd of November 1990 and currently plays for Nea Kifissia of the Greek Basket League. He is a 6 ft 1.25 in (1.86 m) tall and plays as a point guard. Gikas started his pro career in 2012 with Filathlitikos in the Greek 2nd Division. In the 2012-2013 season he was the top scorer of the A2 Greek league with 355 points in 26 games. He then moved to the Greek 1st Division club Aris in 2013, where he stayed until January of 2015, when he moved to BK Ventspils until the end of the season.
