Theodoros Zaras was born on the 12th of August 1987, and currently plays for Aris Thessaloniki in the Greek League. He is a 6 ft 5 (1.97 m) tall and plays as a shooting guard. Zaras played youth basketball with AO Stavroupolis before he started his pro career with ICBS at the age of 18. With ICBS he played for 3 seasons at A2 Greek League, before his transfer to AE Larissa, where he first played in A1 the top level of Greek basketball, scoring 133 points in 22 games in his first year. In the 2009-2010 year he moved to Kolossos Rhodes, where he got the 6th place in the league, scoring 109 points in 23 games. The next year found Thodoris with the team of Kavala, where he finished 6th in the league, once more. In the summer of 2011 he moved to KAOD where he stayed for 4 years, having all the time and space to show his abilitiew and develope as a player. His best season with the team was the 2013-14 season, when they finished at the sixth place og the Greek league. In his last year before his transfer to ARIS, he scored 331 points in 25 games and he was the fifth top scorer of the league.
